Breakfast this morning was an Apple Pie Green Monster. Sweet baby Jesus it tasted EXACTLY like apple pie. I was shocked at how good it turned out. I’m more of a pumpkin pie kinda girl, but dang this smoothie was good.
- 1c almond milk
- 1/2 frozen chopped apple
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 heaping tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 heaping tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 heaping tsp ginger
- pinch of salt
- 1 stevia packet
- pinch of xanthan gum (optional but makes the smoothie super thick)
- 2 handfuls of spinach (optional)
- 5-9 ice cubes (depends on how thick you want it)
